F-500 and Micelle Mist

The presentation will cover the science and applications behind encapsulation fire suppression technology. Global testing will be reviewed and how that can assist the fire protection engineering industry apply this emerging technology. NFPA recognizes the need to consider fire researchers in labs and universities around the world to fill the existing gaps in code and standards surrounding lithium-ion battery risks. Micelle Mist technology will be explained along with the many application configurations available to designers and industry experts facing complex hazards.
