Welcome to the Michigan Chapter of the SPFE

 

The Michigan Chapter of the SFPE was founded in 1960. The purpose of the society is to advance the science and practice of fire protection engineering and its allied fields, to maintain a high ethical standard among its members and to foster fire protection engineering education.

Each month the Chapter Board of director meets to discuss the benefits of programs to be presented during each meeting, plan future events, and review all financials. Every year, there are nominations held to voting in new and / or re-elect existing board members.

After each board meeting, the Monthly Chapter meeting for all members is held with a presentation regarding fire protection related information. Please see our Meetings / Events page for more details.
